Hackers turn Verizon signal booster into a mobile hacking machine

A group of hackers from security firm iSEC found a way to tap right into verizon wireless cell phones using a signal-boosting devices made by Samsung for Verizon and cost about $250.


They hack Verizon's signal-boosting devices, nows as femtocells or network extenders, which anyone can buy online, and turned it into a cell phone answer tower small enough to fit inside a backpack capable of capturing and interceptingn all calls, text messages and data sent by mobile devices within range.


"This is not about how the NSA would attack ordinary people. This is about how ordinary people would attack ordinary people," said Tom Ritter, a senior consultant, iSEC.


They declined to disclose how they had modified the softwqre on the device and but they plan to give more elaborate demonstrations in various hacking conference this year.


Verizon Wireless already released a Linux software update in March to fix the flaw that prevents its network extenders from being compromised in the manner reported by ritter and DePerry.


They claimed that, with a little more work, tey could ahve weaponized it for stealth attacks by packaging all equipment needed for a surveillance operation into a backpack that could be dropped near a target they wanted to monitor.


This particular femtocell taps int o Verizon phones. However, they believe i tmight be possible to find a similar problem with femtocells that work with other providers.

Beware of Fake Android AntiVirus and Mobile Ransomware

"Ransomware" may be a term you haven't heard before. This type of criminal malware, which spread around the world on PCs in 2012, enrypts some or all the files on a computer and holds them for ransom and Cyber thieves have already made milions through such methods.


Ransomware is no longer all about computers. It has evolved to now target mobile devies specifically Androids platform. For a hacker a pop up message is just one more way to steal money by sending fake alerts and serious warings that scare a user into making a payment.


For example, in the case of PCs, we have encountered malware that encrypt crucial data on a user's hard disk, asking the victim to pay a sum to the attacker in order to recover his/her data.


Last year in NOvember at many Hacking Conferences, Security Researcher Mohit Kumar (@Unix_Root) and Android hacker Mahesh Rakheja already demonstrated one of the most sophisticated android malware called "Android Malware Engine", one of its kind yet, that includes the first Android malware Mobile Ransomware worm ever seen.


Fake Android Defender application displays a false malware detection in an effort to gain the victim's confidence and to con you into paying for software to remove the infection, while ransomware locks up your mobile device and prevents you from using it at all until the ransom is paid.


You won't be able to open any new apps, and ultimately will make your device unusable , until you pay for it. Ransom demands vary and can be anywhre between $30-$100. Cybercriminals have been found to earn up to $30,000 a day on scams such as these!


The key to staying protected against these threats is to ensure that you do not get them on to your device in the first place. Android is open and allows you to download and install apps from virtually anywhere, but those apps might not be vetted and often can't be trusted.

What do we think of this? Is this normal? Could this be? Is this allowed to happen? No, most certainly NOT. This is been going on for a few years now but no one is thinking about it. If I were you, I would go do some serious researching about facebook. Cause it can't be trusted. I mean there's no privacy at all. And America, well ... I have never been the type of person who disturbs other people by telling more about my religion. But some of the people around me are really being ignorant. For instance, how could you possibly say that you yourself is the only person that helped you make it so far. How could you possibly say that? Who made you? Who created you? "I shouldn't have done that in the past" en bla bla. No. Think now. And let me tell you a sad thing. They actually think they are real men. Are they?

HFB (Hope, Faith and Belief)

Hope, Faith, Belief?

Let's have a short introduction to the words.

Hope:

Hope is the state which promotes the belief in a good outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life.

Faith:

Faith is confidence or trust in a person, thing, deity, or in the doctrines or teachings of a religion. It is also belief that is not based on proof.

Belief:

Belief is the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true

What is it good for?

These three can do you good, believe me. I was born as a believer. I'm not going to expose my religion just to protect myself. I'm proud with my religion, and I'm not afraid to expose it but lately there have been a lot of conflicts and foul opinions about certain religions.

Why should I?

I will try my best to keep this short. I do NOT believe that that everyone here who's not a believer, does not have a little faith or hope or maybe belief in his heart. Even if you are NOT a believer, you still hope you'll pass this year, right? Or get a promotion? Whatever it is, every one hopes something. Y'all can't deny that. And another thing... if you don't believe at anything, what is the purpose of life? You need something to hold on to (figuratively).

Truth + Belief = Knowledge

Fun and good example:

Have you seen Kung Fu Panda? If you have seen it then you should know this. I don't really remember if it was in the first or the second one but the Panda had to work hard and sweat to get the scroll, right? Even without the scroll everybody thought he was the one and only. Well ... when he actually got the scroll and he rolled it open. What was written on the scroll? NOTHING. Nothing at all. What is the message here? As long as you believe you can/are, then you can/are. Just believe and have faith in yourself.

Jealousy in relationships

Intro

Let us first define the word 'Jealousy'...

Jealousy:

Jealousy is an emotion and typically refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of something that the person values, particularly in reference to a human connection.

My opinion

We all have learned that jealousy is not good. I mean there's nothing beneficial about it. Why would we even be jealous? Okay, in some situations you can say that it's really for nothing. But when it comes to love. I think you have the right to be jealous.

Why? To me ... Jealousy is a type of 'caring'. You can vote me as an imbecile, but it's true. Why would we be jealous? Because we CARE, damn it. We fear that there might happen something wrong to our partner. We trust our partner but we don't trust the other persons around our partner. Again communication is the key here. How do you expect us to stop being jealous if most of the break-ups we hear about are caused by adultery? Just think about it. Jealousy is okay, it's okay to be jealous.

Research and every other medium

You can find everywhere or you can hear everywhere that jealousy is a disease. But you should apply your own theory. Just ignore those megalomaniac bastards. Do what's best for you and your partner. Most important, do what's best for your life.

In what universe is music not enjoyable? We all love music. Music is like love, music is universal. How many times a day do we listen to music? Believe it or not, music can even change us (for a while). And if you think about it. We can do everything with music. Sing along, dance on it, complete our chores with it, ...

In general, music is awesome and fun. WE ALL LISTEN TO IT.

Actually I have never liked music that makes you want to dance and go nuts for crazy. I always like grown-up content/music. Which makes you think and which makes you want to ask questions about life or any other life aspects. Let us say some artists out there do have what it takes to make me want to listen to them. But let's not forget one thing. Mainstream is a b*itch. They always play faggot techno tunes and what not. Or commercial music.
I know some of those tunes may sound good. But they do not have what it takes to explain their music. I myself have been rapping for a while and I know one thing. Music is about expressing yourself. And talk about life experiences. Or warning people about certain events or conspiracies.

And this is what I mean by the path of music. I think it's not going on the right track.

How it should be

Like I mentioned before, it should be inspiring and motivational. Tell us more about your experinces or tell us what we should do if we encounter a certain type of person or situation. I mean music is not that hard. Although the production is disregarded. But still ... get a beat, lay some words on it and record it. It doesn't have to have that insane quality. Everybody can do it.

Even though we are in the 21st century, women are still underestimated. A relationship may look beautiful from the outside, it can be also beautiful in the inside. But is the loyalty existing? Is there some loyalty? A little bit? Or none at all?

Men and women have needs. Naturally! That's why we have relationships and marriages. There's no better solution than marriage for two people who are in love with each other. At the very beginning we have this feeling we call 'in love', but what happens after it? That feeling vanishes. Then we can speak of just 'loving'. When the 'loving' feeling appears, that is the period where we can actually get to know our partner way better (for real). There's no way you could have known him completely when you two first started dating. Each and every one of you wants to be sacral at the beginning. To show your beloved you are the one.

Everyday relationships end mostly because of this subject. The guy is always the bad wolf. When the guy is going out, the girl is sitting at home and she keeps thinking about the guy and god fearing (figure of speech) that he might be cheating on her. If we turn this the other way around. The guy won't allow that in any situation or whatsoever. Because the guy has the bigger voice. The girl is not allowed to do anything. Now this is exactly what I mean by loyalty.

Now, in my previous subject I talked about the Man vs Woman. And I clearly stated that it won't change. The battle will go on for eternity. But this one... What do you think? Can it change? Or can't it? Or let me ask you this. Can we change people? Is an individual strong enough to work in himself/herself?

Solution|Problem?

I'm not really an expert. But what I can give you is one simple solution. Communication. This is the best solution to every couple that has troubles or problems with trust or any other issue. Just talk about it with your partner. And if your partner won't listen or admits he can't or won't do anything about it. Then I pretty much sure he's not the one you should be spending your life with.

Man vs Woman? Yes, Man vs Woman. This fight has been going since... well who knows? We all know that the male may do more than the female. They can do the exact same things, I mean they both are able to do the same things but the male still is allowed to do much more. How is this possible? Do NOT ask. Nobody knows. What we do know is that in "Year One" the male was a hunter and the female was a collector. How could this be? There are many factors, but those factors actually can be subjective. But the main one is that the male was bigger and muscular. So if we use our common sense, we can conclude that the male can endure more. He can endure the walking, the running, the carrying of objectives and more. Don't worry, my beloved ladies, I am not neglecting you. After all, you were the ones that gave fuel to the hunters. It is because of you the males produced energy. But let's get back to the scenario.

I'm not actually going to give you some history lessons, I think we had enough and some of us are sick and tired of those stories. But after a few centuries, a few women have risen and spoke out what's on their heart. This is where the battle began. "Man vs Woman". Yes, now I am talking about "Feminism". There were three waves within the idea. The first wave was promoting women's right to vote. The second wave campaigned for legal and social equality for women. The third wave is a continuation of, and a reaction to, the perceived failures of second-wave feminism, beginning in the 1990s. But that is not what I want to talk about.

Religion

Even though the rise of the females was known worldwide at the end of the 19th century. Women rights were given and existed 1400 years ago. What do I mean? Did you know that Islam was the first religion that gave women their rights? A slap in the face, huh? Yes, it is true. Women rights in the Islam is wide. You can find anything in the Islam about women. Their rights about:

• Equivalence
• Right op property
• Freedom of conscience
• Political rights
• Sexual rights
• Right to education
• Political rights
• Economic rights
• Inheritance rights
• Right in the case of law
• Right to work

And there are so many more. But I just wanted to give you a tidbit. Because currently, what the media is trying to say is that the Islam is not something you should listen to or read about. If you are an intelligent individual, you would ignore that and actually would read about it. Don't judge because they say, judge because you are someone who needs to see/read the information for himself first with his own eyes. This is important.

Build knowledge with your eyes and not with your ears. Don't believe everything you hear. Hear/Listen and go look it up so your eyes can determine whether is true or false.

And if you do this, you will also know what kind of individual that person was who told you "that". And this will give you the option to reorganize your circle of friends.

Youth of today

Kids of today are kind of strange. All they think about is having fun, partying, ... Having fun is part of this world. We all should have and make fun but partying all the time doesn't seem very fun. I mean you go to a party, you get drunk, you're doing things unconsciously, something might happen that you will regret for the rest of your lives, or someone may misuse you and you'll be the bad guy in that situation. All i'm saying is, the youth of today have no idea what they're doing. So that means they have no idea what they're going to do in the future with their life. Personally, to me they are all apes and monkeys. Cause I find a disco or a nightclub a jungle. They're wasting their lives and their time and their money, they do the exact same things other people do. Some of them idiots even take drugs.

So now back to our subject. Why did I bring this nightlife up? I'll tell you why. Because guys go out for many reasons. Girls, having fun, run away from their stress, bla bla bla. So let's examine the first reason. Girls. How come guys can meet girls, talk to girls, touch them, and later maybe even score under the cover and girls don't? In this dilemma, the guys are bastards, animals. And the girls are whores, prostitutes, bitches. I don't know about you but I think the girls are the more negative group in this dilemma, right? Is this fair? No, wait, Is life fair? No, it's NOT. But that doesn't mean you can apply this to the going-out thing. How come guys can have dates and girls can't? Now, I am talking about their female relatives. What I understand is the guys can make themselves filthy and the girls don't. WOW, this is really beautiful ! No, it's NOT. You know what would be beautiful? If you stopped going out, have dates, have sexual intercourses with daughters of another man. Because clearly, your sister can't. So it is up to you to make it beautiful, to make your sister or any other female relative proud of you. And YES... this is how you make this dilemma fair. It won't even be a dilemma anymore.

I hope I can affect some people with this. But I doubt it. But you should all know ... this battle won't end !!

So I don't know if you guys already know that our beloved friend Google has created a Botnet.

What is a Botnet? That's easy. A botnet is a collection of internet-connected programs communicating with other similar programs in order to perform tasks. The way I see it is... it is actually like a DOS-attack (denial of service). This is a method that most advanced hackers use to retrieve data from a victim.
